Come and enjoy the “fresh beauty of the world” through the works of this great artist of the 20^th century.

Seventeen exhibition rooms have been arranged in the restored Matisse Museum. The Matisse Collection is displayed in the Fénelon Palace body. Ten rooms retrace Henri Matisse’s life and works. The Auguste Herbin collection presented in five rooms of the new building shows the career of the artist who was born in Quiévy in 1882. The Tériade Room exhibits the famous editor donation comprising 27 books and about 500 engravings made by the greatest artists, among others Chagall, Léger, Rouault, Miró, Matisse and Le Corbusier.
