Opening days and hours

From Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00 (closed on Tuesday). Open on weekends and public holidays from 14:30 to 18:00. Closed on 1st May, 1st November, from 23rd to 26th and on 30th and 31st December, as well as 1st and 2nd January.

 

Rates

Individual:
Adults: €3.00.
Children from 6 to 16: €1.50.
Free for children under 3.
Groups:
Adults: €2.30 per visitor.
Pupils: educational workshop + visit: €53,35 per session.
Visit only: €38.10 per classroom.

Tip

The greatest worldwide couturiers come to Caudry to buy lace. You should not miss the visit to understand better the origins and the history of this textile tradition, which is deeply linked to the Caudry area.

 

 

On the ground floor, a video projection will retrace the history and technique of the lace industry in Caudry (15mn); the workshop and machine visit showing the different manufacturing processes can be free or guided for groups of 15 persons minimum (booking is compulsory): demonstration of the leavers machine in operation by a professional lace maker.

On the first floor, a temporary exhibition (redesigned every four months) will allow you to penetrate in the world of Haute-Couture, through various themes about lace, tulle and embroidery finished products.
